With the way the Browns are playing, there a realy good chance that the Cowboy pick from the browns will be around the 18-22 area, so there is no way Jerry is that stupid to throw four picks for a running back, I dont care how good he is, running backs are a dime a dozen, you can get good backs late in the first to third rounds, The cowboys really need a corner and an elite receiver followed by running back and a safety, if there is anyway to sucker some team to take Roy Williams off our hands, go for it, then use that pick for another linebacker, Ellis isn't getting any younger and Burnett will want out of Dallas, who is better suited as a weakside backer in a 4-3 scheme.

They could get McFadden with both their first round picks probably. They are fine at linebacker, and there isn't a receiver or Corner that are really first round material.

idk who this anonymous person is but you are retarded even though roy williams is getting older he is still an outstanding player and our corners right now are phenomenal with newman back and henry being the strong defensive back he is we are very solid on defense who we really need to be watching is julius jones is her playing up to starting running back standards??? after watching marion barber the past two seasons one could really pose that as a ligitiment question we see the beast that is marion barber come out and break tackles like no other back in the nfl, but we also see he does not carry the speed jones does. by pulling in a back like mcfadden we have a combination of both a back who can break tackles like marion barber and has the agility of jones combined into one there is no reason for us to pass that up!

I can't believe New England will go 19-0 and draft in the top three come next April. How ridiculous is that? Whom do the Patriots take up here? They don't really need anything, except for a cornerback if Asante Samuel leaves, and a linebacker even though Belichick never drafts them. But it's still too early to select any corner or linebacker, even James Laurinaitis. The Patriots may decide to pick the best player available, which is easily Darren McFadden. If they're scoring 41 points per game right now, how sick are they going to be with McFadden and Laurence Maroney rotating at running back.

Sorry Chris C, but this is a Cowboys blog not a patriots one, and its too bad that your prediction of 19-0 had to be crushed by the Giants, with the Cowboys having 2 picks in the 20s and then picks in the later rounds I could see them taking a WR like Desean Jackson if he slips and a corner like Antoine Cason from Arizona, but if the Cowboys trade for Pacman Jones then the need for corner is filled, along with kick and punt returner. The Cowboys would then only have to address the immediate need of a WR, but who are we kidding this class of WR's is not filled with top 5 picks that we would want to trade up to get, its filled with lots of good receivers but no great ones. So if the Cowboys were to trade up then they could always get a WR later on that is almost equal value to the others. But if the Cowboys trade up to get McFadden then it actually solves the WR, RB and for that matter anything that could possibly happen at QB. He is clearly the best RB in the draft so splitting time with Barber and running behind that huge Cowboy line will only help his NFL career, he will not be the focal point of our offense seeing as how we have Romo, Barber, TO, Witten, Crayton and hopefully Glenn comes back in some sort of good form (because he will probably never be the same) so defenses will not have to "worry" about McFadden all the time because of the other weapons. He can split out in the slot and with his quickness and hands he can play that Wes Welker role in the Cowboy offense while also running the ball and the occasional HB pass. McFadden best fits with the Cowboys and with Jerry Jones' love for his alma mater Arkansas I believe that the Cowboys will move up to draft the newest member that will be enducted into the ring of honor here in Dallas! (ok so that may be a stretch but the possibility of D-Mac to the Boys is not, Go Cowboys)
